About Dr. Syed Mohiuddin
Dr. Mohiuddin was born in Houston, Texas and grew up in the Dallas/ Fort Worth Metroplex. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Biology and a minor in English from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2000. Dr. Mohiuddin received his medical degree from University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 2004, and then completed his residency training at UT Southwestern Medical Center-Children’s Medical Center of Dallas in 2007. He started Honey Pediatrics & Family Medicine in 2014.
He has served as the Chief of Pediatrics at Medical City Plano and serves on multiple hospital committees. He is a volunteer faculty member, Clinical Instructor of Pediatrics at UT-Southwestern and teaches pediatric residents. He has been voted as “Mom Approved Doctor” by Dallas Child magazine multiple years.
Dr. Mohiuddin completed his fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine at University of Arizona and has trained with many of the leading integrative physicians in the country. He promotes a holistic, balanced approach to the health of children.
Dr. Mohiuddin is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and Texas Medical Association.
From teaching newborn classes, sponsoring youth sports, to hosting a pediatric radio show, Dr. Mohiuddin is passionate about being an advocate for children and educating families about children’s health. He is married with 3 children and enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and playing basketball .

The reception female member was not professional in her communication skill which needs some improvement, The Dr was very professional and a great listener to all our concerns as parent at the same he was responsive to satisfy our needs related to the health condition of our daughter.

First appointment and was expecting to take longer but surprise to see how prepared they were and time management was excellent. Doc was courteous, professional, understanding, thorough and polite while dealing with a pre-teen.

My husband and I have been looking for a pediatrician for our son. This clinic and their staff were super friendly and expeditious. Dr. Mohiuddin had excellent bedside manner. Couldn’t be more pleased with our experience. Will definitely continue my son’s pediatric care here.

He is very professional and has great bedside manner- we are visiting from NY and my kid got sick with high fever- he took his time and gave her full examination, explained everything step by step- he told me what to expect next. Some drs are to lazy to talk to you and leave you in the dark- this dr took his time and explained everything which made me feel at ease and better about my daughters symptoms.

I think he's a caring, kind and well manners Dr. My kids surely liked him and were very comfortable around him. And the staff are pretty well trained they vaccinated my daughters without any drama given my kids can be pretty tough to deal with. One of the senior nursing staff did come across rude when dealing with my insurance and didn't really know that I had a PPO coverage and should be covered. And wasn't bothered or interested until the insurance agent on the other side of the call told her I was covered.
But all in all i would still recommend the Dr who's looking for a good doctor for their kids.

Saturday my child was not feeling well. She had a sore throat and a huge fever. I also notice white patches on her throat. I was worried it was strep throat, so I took her to emergency care. We are new to TX, and have not yet found a new pediatrician. The emergency care Dr. took swab test for strep and flu. They were both negative. However we recieved antibiotic regiment for strep as well as fever reliever. By Tuesday I noticed my daughter was not getting any better. I set up an appointment with Dr. Mohiuddin. The receptonist was very kind we were able to be seen the same day. Every one on the staff was pleasent as well. The Dr. took the time to start from the beginning all prior medical history up untill now. After thorough examination he suspected it was a case of mono. We decided on a finger prick test which confirmed. Not only am I happy we found the culprit. I have piece of mind knowing the correct way to aid my child. He went over home care and extra precautions for my childs safety. He was so good with my daughter she was dramatic and nervous. We are so blessed to find a caring Dr. Thank you Dr. Mohiuddin.
