About Dr. Syed S. Hussain
Syed S. Hussain, MD is a highly skilled and compassionate Family Medicine physician. With over 12 years of experience in the field, he is dedicated to providing exceptional care to his patients. He values patient-centered care, respecting each individual's preferences and needs. He can see patients 18 years or older only.
Dr. Hussain received his Doctor of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine. He completed Family Medicine residency at Robert-Wood Johnson University Hospital and North-Shore LIJ. He is fluent in English, Urdu, and Hindi.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Hussain is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Stony Brook University Hospital and is passionate about teaching and mentoring students and residents. He is also a firm believer in preventive medicine and providing acute care treatments when necessary.
In his free time, Dr. Hussain enjoys traveling, reading, and participating in sports activities.

Like the doctor. He was attentive and paid attention but appointment scheduling through zocdoc wasn’t easy though. They cancelled my appointment twice and zocdoc texted that they cancelled on my request which I never did. When I contacted the office was told that their time slots are not updated on zocdoc so the time slots zocdoc offered aren’t available anymore. I had to get appointment a week after the one I picked at zocdoc. Only reason to book appointment on zocdoc is convenience. If I have to call the office and schedule the appointment no point of scheduling at zocdoc. So really disappointed about this scheduling discrepancy, if they can’t align their system with zocdoc they shouldn’t offer zocdoc.

Visit was good. Nothing out of the ordinary. Very pleasant staff. Doctor handled my situation with care and listened to my concerns. Perfect in and out experience. Wait time wasn’t delayed too bad. Definitely experience much worse. Parking lot is a pain though. Tight spots and not a lot of spots

Honestly really nice office, doctor & staff. Everyone was lovely. I was seen basically right away. I felt very comfortable there. I went for a physical and the doctor even addressed issues I wasnt there for which i thought was very thorough. Dr. Hussain and staff were all lovely. I found my new PMD. Thank you !

I'm new to the area and looking for a PCP. I highly recommend Dr and staff. The visit was on time, very thorough, Dr listened and explained everything. Staff was very accommodating. I left there with everything I needed, referrals, prescription, etc. When does that ever happen!
