About Sylvia Okoji
Sylvia Okoji graduated from Oklahoma City University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. After years of working as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting, she decided to further her education and become a Nurse Practitioner. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialty in Family Nursing from United States University in San Diego, California. Scheduled a new patient physical appointment with Sylvia which was seamless. There was some nervousness surrounding meeting a new provider. However, all my worries went poof within five minutes of my appointment. Sylvia's bed side manner, effective communication, knowledge, and empathy towards me was amazing. So happy to have found a provider such as Sylvia.

Siya was sooooo friendly and she made me feel at ease. She took my concerns seriously and did every test that I asked for. She's a very clear and calm communicator and that helped me feel relaxed about my visit. She provided many options for my own health goals, so I felt like she was also taking my health seriously. Love her!

Sylvia was extremely thorough in her questioning and examination, and listened to all of my concerns. I felt like she took me seriously and provided great insight as to what my issue could be while also being very empathetic. She made sure to explain what tests/meds she was ordering and why and gave me advice on some changes to make in my day to day to help my symptoms. I feel very comfortable working with her and confident that she'll help me find answers and the right treatment. The entire staff was very friendly and it was a great experience start to finish.

Doctor Okoji was amazing! She was very pleasant and really listened to everything I needed her to know in order to come up with a plan in motion for my health. She was attentive and showed genuine concern and a sense of urgency. I wish she was in her own private practice with her own hand picked staff because the only issue I had was the staff of the penn medicine group did not greet me and were not listening to what I was saying to them at the check in point.
