I cannot recommend Dr. Reisman enough. I didn't know they still made doctors like this. She listened carefully, took my concerns seriously and followed up with me by phone.

Dr. Reisman is clearly knowledgable in endocrinology and honestly invested in making sure we take a methodical approach to my care. This was my first appointment with her, but based on first impressions, I think she's great.

Dr. Reisman is patient and a good listener to learn about my medical histories. She provided answers and thoughts to my questions and concerns. I will continue seeing her as my endocrinologist.
Verified patient
Dr. Reisman is fantastic. She is extremely knowledgeable and has a fantastic bedside manner. I’d had some less than ideal experiences with endocrinologists in the past so I was a little daunted by the prospect of an appointment, but my apprehension was put at ease the moment the doctor walked into the exam room. Great energy, would highly recommend

I currently don't have the best insurance and it's rare to have access to a doctor that seems both very caring and incredibly knowledgeable at the same time. Highly highly recommend if you can get an appointment with her. So grateful for this level of care in the midst of health ailments and vulnerability.

Great doctor. Friendly and well on her job.

I had to wait about 45 minutes past my appointment to see the actual doctor. I specifically came to get labs, and once we finished with my appointment it was after 5pm and the doctor told me I couldn't get labs done because the staff leaves after 5pm. If the doctor was on time I would have been able to get my labs done. The front desk staff was unprofessional, the printer wasn't working at the end of my appointment and the doctor asked if I had time to wait and the woman at the front desk answered, "she has time, she can wait." This after I already waited 45 minutes for my appointment. There was overall an attitude at the front desk. The office is quite frankly scary, it's literally in a basement and the waiting room is the size of a large walk-in closet, the smallest I've ever seen in living 10 years in NYC. I did not seem like a Mount Sinai office, there were dirty tissues on one of the few available seats in the waiting area. Overall I was really upset because I could have done a virtual appointment since I didn't get get to have my very basic lab test done.
I was pleased with my appointment - Dr. Reisman was warm, knowledgeable, and never made me feel rushed as I detailed my medical history or asked questions. My only complaint was that Zocdoc does not indicate on the provider profile if that provider uses a platform other than Zocdoc to conduct the video visits. It just gives instructions to await an email from the doctor regarding how to log in - an email I never received. It took two calls to the office on the day of my initial appointment - at which point I had been erroneously marked a “no-show” - to find out that the video visit was conducted via Mount Sinai MyChart. I do have to acknowledge and thank Michelle Young in Dr. Reisman’s office however for helping me to seamlessly reschedule.
Video visit
I was pleased with my initial consult with Dr. Reisman, although I am displeased with the avoidable issues I had with the initial log-on. Zocdoc’s instructions (post appointment booking) were to await email instructions from the doctor on how to log on and to log in through the Zocdoc app. HOWEVER, on appointment day, it wasn’t until I called the office the second time, after 2 hours (after being told the first time to give it some more time) that it was explained to me I had to log in and do the visit via the Mount Sinai MyChart app. I missed my appointment completely (and was even marked a no-show although I was trying to log on through zocdoc the whole time). I do, though, have to shout out Ms. Michelle Young who helped me to reschedule for some days later versus having to wait another 2 months. For ZOCDOC: if your doctors are using a different video platform, PLEASE ensure that info is included on their profiles. For PATIENTS: for future visits, be sure to ask the specialist’s office specifically what platform they use for the video visit. Other than that, the appointment went well. Though we had technical difficulties and couldn’t connect via video, Dr. Reisman’s warmth came through over the phone, I didn’t feel rushed going through a brief medical history, she answered all of my questions, and she generated a plan of care I was in harmony with.

Dr. Reisman was great! I immediately felt comfortable (tele-medicine) appointments can be difficult, but my appointment was smooth, and comfortable! Dr. Reisman was a great listener, so incredibly knowledgeable and all my concerns were addressed with care.

Verified patient
I had high hopes for Dr. Reisman, after waiting three months for an appointment... however, was super let down She was knowledge, caring and seemed like she knew exactly what she was talking about and had a game plan for my condition. She said she would call me with the test results within a few days. However, that was over 8 weeks ago and after endless calls to the office, and messages through the 'patient portal' (which has a "two day" response time)... nothing. It is impossible to get in touch with her again, and to get any results back. Funny enough, they are really quick to harass me for paying the bill... and can manage to text and email me constantly for that. To make it worse, during the appointment the lady that drew my blood was horribly unprofessional, said 'whoops!' as she stuck me with the needle trying to find a vein, and left me half passed out in the chair from being queasy... incredible. I truly don't see why anyone would go here

Very smart and informed Dr. she explained things about my condition that made me have a deeper understanding. Very good video visit! This technology really should stick around after the pandemic because it works.

Really nice doctor. The reviews on her are accurate. I would highly recommend anyone go to her. The only issue I had was that the waiting room was really small.
