Tamara Washington APRN, FNP-C is the owner and operator of Elite NP Clinic. She is a native Texan, born and raised in Dallas, TX. The only thing I didn’t like was the wait time. I made sure to get there early and still had to wait an hour and a half.

My appointment was scheduled as my annual preventive exam, which is fully covered by my insurance. During our conversation, I mentioned a few personal health issues, which resulted in two referrals being placed.
At checkout, I was expecting to pay my copay if anything. Instead, I was charged ALOT. In addition to the claim they filed for my preventive visit. That charge did not go toward my deductible or out-of-pocket maximum, so I still don’t understand what it was for. To make it worse, my insurance portal shows that the claim is still in process, so the billing seems premature and unexplained.
They also automatically scheduled me a follow-up to review my lab results and I was asked to pay another copay just to go over the labs that came from the same appointment. When I questioned it, I was told, “Yes, your insurance considers it to be an office visit, therefore we are obligated to collect a copay for any visit with the provider that is not for a physical per our contracts.”

The office booked appt and sent a text cancelling appt because the office did not see minors, none of that information is on their site. When searching for the criteria, the office is recommended and after reading reviews, but still does not state that they don’t see teenagers. So that was unfortunate. If the information is added, it would have been helpful and saved trouble and inconvenience, my rating is on the office in general.

I would not recommend coming to this office as my personal experience left a bad taste in my mouth. The office staff were friendly but the doctor I saw seemed rushed and I felt talked down to rather than informed. The office itself was filled with ads for weightloss and spa treatments and did not seem professional.

The office staff was nice and helpful. I didn’t have to wait very long just a few minutes until I was seen. Dr. Washington was very attentive and communicated very well! Would definitely be coming back!

I did like Tamara but I did not have a great experience. I had my first PAP with her and they lost my sample, I don't think anyone would have called had I not checked up on it. The nurse who drew my blood tried three different locations but still couldn't get a sample. I was referred to labcoprs and they got it under 20 seconds.
Honestly it wasn't the worst experience ever, she has pretty great bedside manner. But I'm just going to pay extra to see a different doctor, I don't have the time to redo this testing and I'm miffed this whole process is taking so long. The only test that was done properly was by labcorps, I wouldn't trust this office again.

Didn’t seem knowledgeable and question my medical history and didn’t complete my full exam...she was in a hurry and didn’t take her time...I spent 3 hours in the office and I don’t know anymore now than I knew when I signed in .......horrible experience I would never ever recommend her!
