Please welcome Tammy Gray, O.D. to Cherry Creek Eye Physicians and Surgeons! Originally from Aurora, Colorado, Dr. Gray graduated from Colorado State University in 2002. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts in 2006. After graduating, Dr. Gray completed her residency in Ocular Disease and Surgical Co-Management at Eye Care Associates of Nevada in Las Vegas and Reno. Before joining Cherry Creek Eye Physicians and Surgeons in 2012, Dr. Gray practiced as an optometrist in the Denver area for over 5 years. She is an active member of both the American Optometric Association and the Colorado Optometric Association. In her spare time, Dr. Gray enjoys hiking in Colorado, traveling with her husband and going to the theatre and ballet.

The office staff was a bit rude and standoffish. The test to avoid pupil dilation and the extra charge was never really explained. They provide you with the tiniest sink to remove your contacts, with no counter, an extremely small mirror, making it very easy to lose your contacts.

The most efficient eye doctor visit I've ever had, waited about 15 minutes for appointment to begin and everything was straightforward from there. Had the option to not have eyes dilated which was a huge plus for making the rest of my day easy!

I had my second encounter with this office today. Both times I walked up to the counter with a smile on my face and said hello. NOT A SINGLE PERSON SAID HELLO or may I help you- total silence, both times. The receptionist just stared at me- made me feel like maybe I wasn't welcome or was interrupting something....? I said hello again, introduced myself, and told her I was there to pick up my lenses. She said "last name?" even though I had just told her. She retreived the lenses, put them on the counter, and went back to looking at her computer screen- no thank you, no have a nice day, no NOTHING. WOW. A receptionist who handles a customer with two words and no greetings whatsoever shouldn't really have a job any more seems to me. This stuff counts, folks. Next year when it's time for my annual checkup, I'll be looking for a different place.
