About Dr. Gene Johnson
Dr. Gene Johnson received his undergraduate degree from Ferris State College and earned his Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. He has a strong interest in optometric humanitarian work and has participated in numerous clinic trips to Mexico, Panama, and Peru. Outside of the office, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with his two grown children, cooking, camping, and engaging in outdoor activities.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful, the office is clean and organized. Dr. Gene Johnson was friendly and informative. Shout out to Mary as well for helping me pick out a new pair of glasses and sun glasses!

I had the BEST experience and highly recommend Dr. Johnson. Great bedside manners and very knowledgeable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Athena was an absolute angel and helped me picked gorgeous glasses. I also want to point out that everyone was ready for me when I got there and it’s probably one of the first times I didn’t have to wait at all at a doctors appointment!

Dr. Gene was very kind and patient! However, the person that saw me first and did my initial eye exam truly made the experience. She was so kind and welcoming. She was clearly an expert, but communicated results in a way I could understand. Sincerely the best customer service I've ever received. I'd recommend her a hundred times over!
