About Dr. Kristine Pedersen

"Dr. Pedersen earned her Bachelors degrees in both Biology and Science Communication from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey. She then received her Doctor of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, where she developed a strong interest in ocular disease and low vision care. During her clinical training, she gained diverse experience in a variety of office settings such as private practice, the VA Hospital, and the William Feinbloom Vision Rehabilitation Center. These experiences sparked her commitment to comprehensive and compassionate eye care for patients with complex visual needs. After graduating in 2024, she moved to Colorado with her wife and two rescue dogs to complete a residency in Ocular Disease at Insight Vision Group. Her residency training solidified her interests in glaucoma management, emergency eye care, post operative management, and ocular disease management. Having grown up in New Hampshire, Dr. Pedersen has always loved the outdoors and enjoys hiking, camping, and is excited to continue exploring all that Colorado has to offer. When not outside, she can be found reading, training the dogs, or perusing nearby antique shops. She's also passionate about animal rescue and loves getting involved with local organizations."
