Dr. Tanya Duvivier, DO
Dr. Duvivier set her eyes on pediatric medicine as a young girl inspired by her pediatrician and her grandmother’s home remedies for illnesses. Due to the influence of these strong women, she decided to pursue pediatrics professionally. She earned her B.S. from Adelphi University and D.O. from the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she was awarded a Regents Healthcare Scholarship. After medical school, Dr. Duvivier completed a traditional rotating internship at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, where she rotated through multiple specialties. She then completed her pediatric residency at Flushing Hospital Medical Center, where she rotated through Jamaica Hospital Medical Center for general pediatrics and Montefiore Medical Center’s Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for seriously ill and injured children. Following her residency, she worked in a private practice before moving onto a position with a nonprofit organization. Dr. Duvivier enjoys spending time with her patients, and is looking forward to building new and lasting relationships with them and their families.
