In case you’re trans and looking for a dermatologist, do not come here. Either the information I disclosed with the nurse was not communicated to the doctor or she was very transphobic. I said that I was transitioning and she seemingly ignored this information in favor of telling me that the medication I’m on to prevent hair loss during my transition will likely cause problems for me giving birth, harping over and over again on the word ‘female’ and how I may want to stop taking the medication. I went in for a consultation about whether or not I had alopecia as it runs in my family and suddenly it becomes a conversation about me potentially giving birth. Needless to say it was very uncomfortable given the current climate of the country. The doctor spoke to me with a very cloying tone that made me feel like I was seeking care in the 50s. Very, very disappointing visit which made me feel very unsafe. Will not be coming back.

I chose to make an appointment with Taylor Weintraub because she is a PA and has been trained to spot skin cancer. There were spots on various parts of my body that I feared might be pre-cancerous. Ms Weintraub examined these, checked for others and treated those that were pre-cancerous. Professionally, I thought she was thorough and competent. Personally, she was friendly and pleasant. I was very pleased with the entire experience.

I'm very happy with my experience. I scheduled a consult for a mole that I've had my entire life and assumed I would need to schedule a follow up to do anything about it. To my surprise, I was able to get a consult on the mole, have a full body mole/freckle check, have the mole in question removed plus a second worrisome mole removed and sent for testing. It is easy to put off important doctor visits, so I was very happy to have such a productive visit.

Taylor was amazing! So sweet and friendly, definitely felt at ease with her in the room. She did my annual skin screening today and was done within 10 minutes, was super attentive to concerns I had and definitely reassured me with the amount of knowledge she has. Appointment was fantastic! I was seen right on time and Taylor is so wonderful! I had to do self-pay (due to needing an emergency appointment and my in-network office not having anything until May) and they were so accommodating here. They were 100% transparent with the pricing and told me how much it would cost up front. Taylor was so sweet and listened to my concerns. She did an exam and assessed thoroughly. I was able to get biopsied right away and when my results came back, the office did call me to tell me my results — even with the results being totally benign! It was a great experience. Just as an FYI though, mask wearing is optional in this office and the staff did not have them. That’s a heads up in case that is highly important to you. Great experience! Sad that they’re out of network for me because I would not hesitate to return here!
