About Dr. Taysa Bowers
My approach to practice is patient-centered care. I believe it is essential to understand my patients’ physical and mental health goals, as well as the experiences that have led them to where they are today. I am passionate about preventative care, how lifestyle can affect health and symptoms, and keeping an open mind to find different ways of maintaining or improving health. My goal is to provide guidance and support with the understanding that physical and mental health goals are unique to each individual. I earned my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed my residency in Family Medicine at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. I also hold a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.

My appointment was wonderful! Dr. Bowers asked about my medical history and about the current medications I am taking. She talked about getting a general wellness check and about any recent appointments I've had. She was so helpful! We recently moved and I needed to find a primary care doctor to continue use of medications. She didn't try to change any of my medications and was helpful and just great overall. 10/10 would recommend and I will be returning to her!
