About Dr. Tehming Liang
Dr. Liang received a degree in biochemistry at the University of Chicago and spent time in research at Merck, a pharmaceutical company with a focus on discovering drugs to treat the unwanted effects of the male hormone testosterone. Dr. Liang’s research contributed to the discovery of finasteride for treating benign prostatic hyperplasia (Proscar) and baldness in men (Propecia). Dr. Liang earned his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine in 1987. After completing his residency at the University of Chicago Hospital, he taught for four years at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio also serving as the chairman and director of the dermatology residency program.
In 1995, Dr. Liang returned to the Chicago area to open Bolingbrook Dermatology. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Medical Association, Chicago Society of Dermatology and the Illinois Dermatologic Association.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr Liang was great. Wonderful ‘bedside’ manner. He introduced himself, shook my hand and made me feel very much at ease. He listened to me and explained everything clearly that was being done. It was a very pleasant experience. I was actually smiling when l left. I would recommend Dr Liang in a heartbeat. It’s comforting to see a doctor who cares about his patients ??

I was seen immediately and we went over my concerns and went straight to figuring out the "root" of the problem. I think I was in and out in 10 minutes and spent no time alone in the patient room. Went to see Dr. Tehming for my skin issues. He’s awesome. He knew exactly what my issue was and was quickly able to suggest treatment for it. The nurse was nice as well. She was patient when hearing me out. All in all great facility and good service. Would highly recommend.

When I got to the office it is a clean professional, business oriented office. There were a moderate amount of clients present. I thought for sure since I was a new client it would take forever but the clerk was helpful, kind and professional and fast with getting information. My wait was about 10 min wait after filling out forms. Dr. Liang was very fast didn’t take long to know the problem and the cause of my daughter’s issue. We were in and out in no time. He was personable, knowledgeable, and answered concerns with patiences. I would refer anyone to Dr. Liang he is a wonderful doctor. And his staff is great especially the clerk she made family feel comfortable and she was so kind to my youngest daughter and informative to me. I loved the experience.
