My visit was concerning my fertility, a sensitive subject with a lot of emotions attached. Dr. Hubka was able to educate me about the reproductive process as well as relate to my chart. She made me feel confident that I will be able to have a baby and I left the appointment with new hope and a positive, yet realistic outlook.

A native of San Diego, California, Dr. Hubka received her undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of California at Davis, and her Masters Degree in biology and nutrition science from the University of Bridgeport, Bridgeport, CT. Dr. Hubka completed a dietetic internship at Alvarado Hospital and Medical Center in San Diego and worked as a registered dietician in both hospital and private practice settings.
Dr. Hubka received her osteopathic medical degree (DO) from Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. She completed an osteopathic internship at Atlantic City Medical Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey, as well as a residency in obstetrics and gynecologic surgery at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, where she was the chief administrative resident.
Dr. Hubka is dual board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOOG) and the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecology (ACOG). She has been practicing medicine for 20 years and during that time she opened her private Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) practice in Lincoln Park as a solo practitioner and then founded Comprehensive Wellness Care – a practice of affiliates in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Family Medicine, and Integrated Behavioral Health, Fitness, and Fertility specialists, located in Lincoln Park, which provide complete health services to women of all ages. Dr. Hubka also practices at Resurrection Medical Center, Mercy Hospital and Medical Center, as well as Swedish Covenant Hospital.

She was wonderful and I greatly appreciated her bedside manor. However, I waited about 1 hour to get in the room and another hour and a half before I saw her. Therefore I was at the doctors office for about 3 hours in total.
