About Theresa Longo
Theresa Longo has 25 years of experience, including 18 years of experience in dermatology. She graduated from St. Joseph College of Nursing with a B.S.N. in 1995 and from St. Xavier University with an M.S.N. in 2000. She is board-certified by the American College of Nurse Practitioners and the Dermatology Nurse Certification Board. Her primary interests include skin cancer detection & surgery.
Theresa is highly skilled in the care of pediatric and adult conditions, including acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, and warts. She has worked closely with Mohs Surgeons over the years and has extensive training in surgical incisions. She also has training in cosmetic dermatology treatments including BOTOX, Juvéderm, Restylane, Belotero, CoolSculpting, chemical peels, laser therapy and cosmeceuticals, including Restorsea and Skinceuticals.

Don’t go to this dermatology office I have been twice to two different providers and neither of them saw me for more than a few minutes or recommended anything helpful.

The front office was busy but fairly organized. Easy to find. I waited for about 20 minutes to be seen. In that time, I filled put my info on an iPad and a paper document. I was called back and waited less than 5 minutes to be given an interview by the assistant(?). After that, another couple of minutes and the nurse came in, evaluated my mole and basically said she could not help me. I can't recommend the facility because I personally can't vouch for their service but the office visit wasn't too bad.

I went in to get some warts removed and it was okay. She didn't go into detail as to why I had them and what they were caused by. Just that a virus caused them..but what virus? I think I will try a different provider next time

The exam went well. The constant reminders from ZocDoc were annoying, bordering on harassment. The in office check-in was overdone … does it really matter if my mother has scurvy or rickets?

I had never booked on Zocdoc before and was scared too since when you book online often times the appointments are not confirmed with the office itself. I put a message in the appointment requesting a confirmation call and someone from the office immediately responded! Office staff were friendly and Theresa was very polite and knowledgeable. Efficiency is what this office is all about, which has pros and cons.
Pros: I arrived about ten minutes early and was taken back immediately. After undressing, the physician came quickly as well. I spent about 10-15 minutes with her, during which time I had a full body scan, got a prescription, and had a very tiny procedure. So fast!
Cons: I felt like the process was rushed. If I didn’t come in knowing all of my questions and concerns and feeling confident about asking them, I don’t think they would have been brought up. I actually still forgot one of my questions, which may not have happened if we had more time and it was more conversational.
The bottom line:
If you know exactly what you need, are confident asking questions, and want a quick, efficient experience, come here!

I liked the staff. It was a clean facility. But I did not feel attended to by the nurse practitioner that saw me, Theresa Longo. My concern was on a specific part of my body but she somehow thought it was somewhere else.
She didn’t let me talk. She gave me a prescription but she was talking so fast I didn’t understand how to take it. The nurse that was helping me was more accommodating.
Theresa Longo was nice, smiling all the time, but I did not feel like my concerns were heard.

I was told my insurance was accepted when I got to the office. They said we don’t take that insurance. Wasted my time it was a 45 minute drive they said I could pay out-of-pocket I said no.?

I loved the provider and her MA. Amazing bedside manner, made me so comfortable and clear communication. Wait time for entire staff was long though. I was there early and still waited an hour last appointment time to be seen.

I felt very comfortable and not judged in any way at my appointment. The provider took her time to listen and check all of my concerns. Even after we thought we were finished, I asked her to look at one more thing, which she did graciously. We were both glad I asked.
