The staff at the front office was very friendly and helpful, but I did have to wait for more than half an hour to see Dr. Chang. The actual visit was quite short, but Dr. Chang seemed very knowledgeable. He was not a talker, but was professional and answered all my questions clearly.

I had to wait too long - about 45 to 50 minutes. But this is first time with him that this happened. Office said they were short-staffed - someone should have called me to let me know things were running so late.

I found him to be a bit rude and condescending. He seemed like he didn't really care about me as a patient and wanted to get me in and out as quickly as possible.

The doctor spent 2 minutes with me. He did not give me any insight into my eye issues and sent me to the front desk, who told me what medicine I would be taking. They also sold me over-priced "eye lid" cleaner, that I could have bought online for half the price.

The quickest appointment I've ever had at an eye doctor. He was thorough and didn't even have to dilate my eyes to check my retina--as he had the latest equipment. Recommend 100%! Very efficient and straight to the point.

The wait time was kind of long--they only had one person working the front desk, so she was kind of swamped. Dr. Chang is pretty to-the-point and not conversational, but really knew his stuff and got me in and out of his office really quickly, so no complaints there. Would definitely go to him again.

Felt that there were far too many "additional fees" for services that I was not aware of, nor has my insurance ever charged me for (no changes to insurance either). The appointment itself was okay. I don't feel that I was being listened to thoroughly. I was advised to purchase a "special cleanser" which turned out to be a basic face/eye wash that was significantly overpriced. I left unsatisfied with my visit as I couldn't even get a new eye prescription without being charged for a glasses or contact fitting fee (which I turned down). Needless to say, I will be returning to my previous ophthalmologist.

I won't be returning. His office staff are nice but he was rude to me. I never expect a doctor to be overly friendly but he was talking down to me for most of the visit. He was also looking at someone else's chart instead of mine when I was there. One of his staff had to tell him it wasn't my chart at the end of the visit while I was waiting to leave.

He is very gentle with your eyes unlike some doctor is always in a rush and rude. He also speaks many languages. I can speak Chinese and English with him so there's no communication barrier.

I had a pretty good experience with Dr. Chang. It is clear that Dr. Chang is extremely knowledgeable, so I will most certainly return. In the first minute of meeting him, I knew I could trust his analyses.
However, I will say that you should make sure to give yourself over an hour for your visit, even if you are not going to be dilated. The front desk was facing issues, which resulted in my not seeing the doctor until 40-45 minutes after I arrived. As I was leaving, the person attending the front desk was yelling at someone over FaceTime, which was a bit inappropriate.

Lacks bedside manner. Would cut off my answers to his questions when I was explaining myself. Was very curt and seemed like he did not care for my concerns. I would not recommend going.

My initial assessment was biased as I waited about 15 minutes despite that I was the first patient but I found Dr. Thomas to be experienced and knowledgeable. He's very comfortably dispelling popular misconceptions and appears, despite 30 years in the field, to be still up to speed on new technologies and updated studies. I find to be rare and a gem. I appreciated that his staff member Helen went through in detail what I would be paying and for what BEFORE I went into my appointment.

I visited him because I have infection on my eye. He answers short, but explained kindly with detail what would caused it, and how I should treat with it. I received the copy of my pic of eye and full text of explanation too.
I'm pretty satisfied with my visit. Waiting Tim was a long long cause it was my first visit. I would recommend him :)

He was extremely condescending and unfriendly. When I showed up on time, I was told he was still at lunch - he showed up 25 minutes later and rushed through my appointment. He made a comment about a medication I was on and the eye doctor I had seen before. Very rude.
It's unfortunate- the women in the office were so helpful and informative. The doctor should take a few notes from them.
