About Dr. Thresiamma Mathew

**Please note Dr. Mathew is a Physiatrist, not a Surgeon. She treats patients with pain and a wide range of injuries.** RTM Physiatry & Psychiatry, PLLC provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment for pain, injuries, and neurological conditions. We offer physical therapy for pre- and post-operative orthopedic care, as well as treatment for neck pain, back pain, multi-joint pain, sports injuries, tendinitis, bursitis, and nerve-related disorders. Services also include joint, soft-tissue, and trigger point injections, shockwave therapy using the PiezoWave® 2 to help relieve chronic musculoskeletal pain and support tissue healing, nerve conduction studies and EMG, orthotics and prosthetics, and durable medical equipment (DME). Dr. Mathew earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from T.D. Medical College. She completed her internship in General Surgery at Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center and her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Metropolitan Hospital Center, both affiliated with New York Medical College. At RTM Physiatry & Psychiatry, PLLC, our goal is to treat patients with compassion and provide the best possible care they deserve.
