I think Dr. Nguyen is an excellent doctor and she's a very good listener as well. I would definitely recommend that you see her, because she's very professional. Also she gets to the problem quickly so you're in and out before you know it.

After living out of state for nearly ten years Dr. Nguyen, a lifelong Chicagoan, was eager to return to the city she loved. Within minutes of meeting the people at Midwest Family Wellness, she knew she found the right medical practice to call home, too. The practice was looking to add another physician with a wide range of clinical experience, a compassionate touch, and a sarcastic personality that would fit in with the staff and patient base. Needless to say, they found it.
Dr. Nguyen attained her medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine then immediately went on to complete her Family Medicine residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. A mother herself, Dr. Nguyen specializes in pediatrics, adolescents, adults of all ages as well as woman’s health.

Dr. Nguyen was fine from the few times I remember actually being able to see her, although for the most part you would have entire appointments with only a NP. Any time i was ill i would haveto call , no exaggeration, about 15 times and leave SEVERAL voicemails before I got a response. One time i waited so long for a response I eventually had to go to a mec to get treatment which of course cost much more than an office visit with my doctor. I dont know if its so much Dr. N but the staff Thorek was rude, and again seemed incapable of calling their patients back. Would not recommend.

While she was very professional the staff upon greeting you was not. As the only person in the waiting room I kindly stood their awkwardly as they continued to eat their breakfast and talk with one another.
Dr. Nguyen was hard to get a hold of. I was being left voice mails and upon calling back unable to leave a voicemail myself, I continued to leave messages with the front desk, but never received a call back. After weeks I decided to find another Primary Care Doctor.

The doctor was wonderful. Her staff left much to be desired. I was supposed to get directions on where to go for a test after my visit and I wasn't even given a room number. I wound up having to go to another office to ask their reception where I needed to go. I'll be going back though, she is a very good doctor.

Being that I have already rated Tiffany Nguyen, who was a great doctor, I feel the need to mention other factors that play into a doctors visit, namely the receptionist.
I had a mixed view of the receptionist who upon my arrival was gossiping loud enough for everyone in the waiting room to clearly them. She didn't come across as a friendly person (not smiling, not looking at you when she spoke est) which ultimately when it comes to ratings hurt it for me.
Overall Tiffany Nguyen was great but telling your receptionist to be friendly and professional would help quite a bit as they represent the first impression patients get.

Dr. Nguyen is awesome! I have been in the office to see her twice and she really cares about her patients. She remembered everything from my previous visit and does a very good job at explaining everything. The office staff are also amazing! Really took the time to answer my questions about insurance. Also I absolutely hate getting my blood taken, but both times the nurse did an amazing job! Highly recommended
