Dr. Johnson is top notch. I went in to get a cyst removed on my scalp, and he did an excellent job. He was very thorough and took his time. My mom, who had the same procedure done by a different Dr. was amazed at how clean and neat my stitches looked. He was also very friendly and down to earth, he made conversation throughout the whole procedure so it helped make me feel more comfortable.
The overall office is very beautiful and modern. The front desk check-in process was quick and efficient. Everyone on staff was overall very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend!

Dr. Todd Johnson is excited to join Dermatology & Aesthetics of Wicker Park in May 2015. Dr. Johnson has been practicing general, surgical and cosmetic dermatology at Northwestern Medicine (formerly Northwestern Memorial Physicians Group) in Chicago since July 2007 as well as North Shore Center for Medical Aesthetics in Northbrook since 2003. Dr. Johnson has been a Board-Certified Dermatologist since 2005 with a specializing in total body dermatoscopic detection of skin cancer, surgical and non-surgical skin cancer removal, cosmetic botox and injectable fillers, acne, rosacea, wart treatment and male genital dermatology.
Dr. Johnson attended the Miami University of Ohio for undergrad education, and continued on at University of Illinois at Chicago Medical School for Medical School. He spent his internship at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston and Dermatology Residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago Hospital. Dr. Johnson is currently a Clinical Instructor at Northwestern University School of Medicine, Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and American Society of Dermatologic Society, and Member of the Chicago Dermatology Society, North American Contact Dermatitis Association and the Dermatology Foundation. We are currently accepting new patients to see Dr. Johnson.

Couldn't have been better. Seriously.
In desperate need to be treated TODAY, I was able to book online and was sitting in a treatment room less than three hours later, with no wait time. The entire staff was extremely nice, courteous, and helpful, and Dr. Johnson is an absolutely great guy. He arrived immediately and completed my procedure within about 10-15 minutes. I'm already seeing a vast improvement.
The office is nearly impossible to get a hold of via phone, and they have strict billing terms (DO read them: Card on file in advance, or a deposit for the visit), but the service and facilities far outweighed any concerns.
Thanks so much to Dr. Johnson and his staff, from the dude who needed his face fixed for a wedding.

Loved the overall experience. The facilities look to be newly renovated, the staff is super friendly, and I did not have to wait to be seen. As far as Dr. Johnson goes, he is extremely personable, compassionate, and knowledgeable - I would definitely recommend him. If you are driving to your appointment, note that the building has a valet service for a nominal fee but you can find plenty of free street parking nearby.
