About Haley Thornton

Haley Thornton, MPAS, PA-C graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from The College of Charleston in Charleston, SC. She completed her Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana in 2020. Haley worked in dermatology as a physician assistant in southern Indiana prior to joining the Skin Care Center. She currently provides general dermatology services in the Chicago location and has special interests in acne, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, biologic treatments, and skin cancer screening.

The only issue I had was the address listed was for suite #401, but this appointment was in #320 - just something for others to be aware of!

I have only good things to say about the skin care center and Haley Thornton - I arrived very early for one of the first appointment slots of the day (8:15am), the front desk staff was kind and let me fill out my forms even though they weren’t technically open for business yet, and I was seen 15 minutes early by Dr Thornton! The nurse was friendly and asked me everything the doctor would need to know, esp about my family’s melanoma history, and then Haley was thorough with my full body check, making sure to point out spots on me to keep an eye on, and giving me advice. She was efficient, gave me space to voice questions and concerns, and was very assuring. The office was clean, and I had a really great experience there.

Haley Thornton is a wonderful PA who treated me with the most respect and attention I have ever had around my dermatology concerns. She took the time to listen to my symptoms and experiences and actually ran a test to see what was going on which no other clinician has done for me before. I have never walked away from a doctor feeling more seen.
