Efficient appointment for my annual routine physical exam. Dr. McNiff was nice, friendly, and informative. Can't complain! The day before my appointment, the office called me to ask if I could reschedule, as they had accidentally double booked the Dr. or something. I said I could not reschedule, and they were accommodating. My appointment was on time.
He was very professional and the office atmosphere was welcoming. I was in and out for an annual physical in under an hour.

More about Dr. Todd McNiff, MD

I am a primary care internist who recently moved from a group practice to a solo practice setting. I am deeply committed to my patients. New patients’ visits are scheduled for thirty minutes, during which I endeavor to learn every pertinent medical, surgical, family history, and social detail that may impact their health. While I, of course, aggressively seek to diagnose and treat disease in my patients, I feel that evaluating their family histories, diet, exercise levels, social support, substance use/abuse, and psychological well-being to prevent illness is just as important. Any therapy that I advocate for my patients is supported by well-conducted clinical studies and endorsed by major professional medical organizations. When deciding on a course of treatment, lifestyle change, or other intervention, I consider my patients’ personal preferences, social situation, family history, and past medical experiences, present a variety of options based on these patient-centric considerations, and develop a plan of action collaboratively with them. I utilize an electronic medical record which helps reduce errors in drug prescribing, and which I can access remotely. I am genuinely interested in my patients’ well-being; they all have my email address, and they know that anything they tell me will be met with a non-judgmental response and a thoughtful medical perspective.

Great guy, very thorough, and easy to talk to. Most thorough physical I've ever had. Highly recommended.

Very attentive and accommodating. Clean and inviting office atmosphere.
Great experience, excited to move forward with Dr. McNiff as my PCP.
Efficient appointment for my annual routine physical exam. Dr. McNiff was nice, friendly, and informative. Can't complain! Dr. McNiff was very quick and thorough. There was no point that I felt that he was unprofessional or under-qualified. This was my first new doctor in a long time and I was a little thrown back by how little he spoke. Im very used to a fun and comforting bedside manner which he did not have. Although he seemed very qualified and knowledgable i would have liked that experience as a reassurance that everything was going to be ok.
I don’t know if my expectations are too high, but this doctor seemed extremely rushed/disinterested. His office called ONE day before my appointment to tell me there was a scheduling conflict, even though I booked the appointment weeks before. I explained that I took time off for work, so they were able to fit me in. All in all, didn’t seem like he actually cared about the human being in front of him.

Fantastic experience. Would definitely recommend.
Great doctor! Very friendly.

Great doctor - i'll go back!
very knowledgeable and personal
I arrived a few minutes early; Dr McNiff was with a patient, and even though he was still on time, apologized for making me wait. Great experience from the Zocdoc appointment to check-in to Dr. McNiff's exam.
As a young male adult in his early 20's, Todd was just the doctor I was looking for in NYC. Todd is very professional and extremely resourceful. I have already declared him as my Primary Care Physician. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. McNiff is great - appointments are simple to book and wait times are practically nonexistent. He is incredibly knowledgeable and tests for many common problems during annual physicals. He is also frequently reachable by phone and email, making him great for emergency or unexpected problems.
I had a great experience, no waiting; the doctor is very knowledgeable and friendly. The office is new, clean and in a great location. Highly recommended.

Seen 5 minutes after my scheduled appointment; at previous doctors I would often wait 30+ minutes. Small but modern and clean office. He seems like a good doc that I would feel comfortable speaking openly with. A big plus for me is that he is tech savvy. He keeps electronic records and is easily reachable via email (I received responses within an hour on the weekend). Compared to previous docs I used who sometimes would take day to return a phone call, this is a breath of fresh air. I think I finally found a doctor I'll be using for the foreseeable future.
very nice and professional

Very personable and tech-savvy.
Courteous, timely, helpful. Highly recommended.
Verified patient
Very personable and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable talking to him about my symptoms. I was very surprised (in a good way) by how quickly he followed up on my test results and how accessibly he has been.
I think he is probably a good doctor. I was not impressed that as a new patient I was kept waiting 40 minutes for an 8:30 appointment and almost walked out.
Verified patient
Friendly, awesome dude. Very good with technology; offered to send me a scanned copy of my test result and go through it with me through phone. (I made my appointment on-line too). Highly recommended!
Dr. McNiff was in the middle of moving his office and it was pretty chaotic, but he made me feel very welcome as a first time patient. He was smart, nice and immediately understood my issues and offered great advice and service. I highly recommend him.
He was very personable. He took the time to go over my symptoms, and made me feel very comfortable. Will definitely be going back!
Verified patient
Unbelievable. I was in the waiting room filling out my new patient paperwork and the doctor came out and told me to finish the paperwork later. Now that's what I call efficient! He was very kind, humble, understanding, and funny. The whole appointment took about 10 minutes. I asked a question about a medical condition I'd heard about and he printed me a great article to read just so I could be aware of the facts. Great doctor!!

Pretty good overall.
I had an appointment with Dr. McNiff last week, and I cannot recommend him more highly. He's extremely knowledgeable, listens to everything you say, and provides truly excellent care. I've been looking for a new primary care physician for awhile, and now I'm glad to say I've found one!
I thought Dr. McNiff was great. I was comfortable right away, he's very personable and explained things very well to me. I mean I hope I stay healthy and don't have to see him very often but if I do at least I know I'll have a wonderful doctor to help me out.
