I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner with 18 years of experience practicing as both a nurse and NP. I am dedicated to achieving exemplary patient outcomes by following evidence-based practices and ensuring all necessary treatments are provided. I place a strong emphasis on listening carefully to patient concerns and answering questions in clear, understandable terms. I am committed to collaborating with all members of the clinical team, valuing their suggestions and input to improve results and maximize patient satisfaction.
I specialize in diverse settings, including crisis centers, outpatient clinics, and partial psychiatric programs. I work with adolescents and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, and substance abuse issues.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree from Seton Hall University, a Master’s in Nursing from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Chatham University.

As a psychiatrist nurse practitioner, my greatest strengths lie in my ability to connect deeply with my clients, fostering trust and creating a safe environment for them to open up. My clinical knowledge and expertise allow me to accurately diagnose mental health conditions and develop effective treatment plans. My strong communication skills and patient-centered approach ensure that clients feel heard, understood, and actively involved in their care. Additionally, my adaptability and commitment to continuous learning enable me to stay current with advancements in psychiatric care and provide the best possible treatment for my clients.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
In their first session with me as a psychiatric nurse practitioner, clients can expect a warm and welcoming environment where they can openly share their concerns and experiences. We will engage in a thorough assessment of their mental health history, current symptoms, and any relevant medical or psychosocial factors. I will actively listen, ask relevant questions, and collaborate with the client to develop a personalized treatment plan that may include therapy, medication management, lifestyle modifications, and referrals to other healthcare professionals if needed.
