About Dr. Tommy Galanis
I am your local Board-Certified Pediatrician. I graduated from St. George's University School of Medicine with a Doctor of Medicine degree in 2009 and have been practicing in the area since 2012. As a father of two young children, I understand the concerns of a parent. I am willing to hear and address your concerns without rushing you through treatment plans, providing you with guidance regarding the growth and development of your child.
We offer hearing and vision screenings, vaccines, and blood draws done in-office. We care for newborn babies through 21 years of age, providing sick visits, well visits, school forms, and sports clearances. Our office speaks English, Spanish, and Greek. We treat you like family.

It has been a struggle for me to find an attentive, informative pediatrician for my daughter. Although the appointments seem rushed, Meeting Dr. Galanis was a breath of fresh air. He listened to all of my concerns, respects my choice regarding spacing out vaccines and provides direct knowledge. I am so happy to have found him for my daughter. Lastly, his staff are very nice.

first off, I just moved here with my family from CT about 3 months ago! we're still transitioning and it was in the midst of my 2year old needing his 24 month wellness! The entire staff was friendly. The doctor was respectful and gave me lots of good tips on everything parenting a 2 year old. This experience for us was like something out of a movie all the way to receiving a cute lollipop for my little tot ? thank you guys so much ?? this is our new pediatrician family TRIBORO PEDIACTRICS

Amazing experience! I recently changed my sons PCP to Dr. Galanis and I’m so glad I did! Office is clean and the front desk receptionists are polite and helpful. My son was seen right away and Dr. Galanis took the time to get to know my sons history since it was our first visit. He is respectful with decisions I have made for my son in terms of his medical history and I appreciate that so much. He also took the time to explain any concerns that I had prior to the visit. I highly recommend him to all parents/guardians:)

The office was neat and well taken care of. But the wait to see the doctor, even after the nurse took all of my babies vitals was a bit long. Once the doctor actually got there, he was very quick and spoke quite rapidly, as if her had other patients to get to. He was kind and very attentive, but felt like he was in a little bit of a rush.

I was looking for a new pediatric for my kids. Came across Dr Tommy Galanis. I read the reviews that were previously left and did some research before deciding on this doctor. Let me just say, I do not regret choosing him for my children's future care. He was very professional and nice. His staff was very pleasant as well. As per previous reviews he did not disappoint. Took very good care of my children respected my views, and decision as my kids mother, but of course still gave his professional advice, and didn't over step. He was very good with my kids in making them comfortable, myself included. I am pleased with the decision I made and will be sticking with him. ??

Dr. Galanis was welcoming, attentive and helpful. I didn’t feel rushed and he explained everything in a way I could understand. Prescriptions were sent to the pharmacy rapidly, the office was clean, we were seen straight away. Overall my beat Zocdoc experience.

He really took the time to listen and answer any questions and made me and my daughter feel confident when we left. Let me tell you she was very cranky when she came in and he handled it like a true gentleman. He got the job done and managed to give her two vaccines during an impossible moment. Even after we left and he needed to contact us for more testing, when he couldn’t reach us he made sure to continue try and leave voicemails, when I got it done I called his office and I mean I have explained it well to the person at the front desk, but whatever happened with the doctor didn’t hear back from me and I guess assumed I never got his message so he called back again all day the next day just to make sure we went in and I thought that was Beyond anything anyone would’ve expected him to do.. I wish the front desk communicated better… LOL, but a child needs a doctor that advocates and speaks for them and makes sure they get the proper care while keeping the lines of communication open.

Dr. Tommy Galanis is the doctor to go to, he listens to everything you have to say, will help you in what ever you need, and explains everything very well. The office is super clean and the medical assistants are so helpful, kind and attentive. I have been a patient for him when I was little and my mom loved how patient and respectful he was. I now have the opportunity to take my daughter to him. I highly recommend this amazing doctor!!

Loved this Doctor for my son. As simply as I can say I love how he respects the decisions I’ve made as a mother, still informs me from a doctors perspective as to what he thinks but doesn’t shove his opinion down my throat like my sons last physician attempted to do. I respect him so much more for that and how chill and nice he was during the appointment. My son doesn’t like new people as he was born in May and doesn’t leave the house much, the Doctor came In sat down started conversing with me and my son got curious so by the time it was examination time my son had warmed up to him a bit. Thank You again Dr. Galanis!
