Dr. Troy Blanchard has been a valuable addition to the Master Eye Associates family of optometrists. Dr Blanchard is licensed therapeutic optometrist with experience in difficult contact lens cases and co-management of refractive (LASIK) surgery as well as cataract surgery.
Dr. Blanchard earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University and earned his Doctor of Optometry at the College of Optometry of Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
Dr. Blanchard completed a low vision externship at the prestigous Bascom Palmer Eye Institue in Miami, Florida. He also advanced his knowledge and skills for diagnosing and treating ocular disease with Ocular Disease Externships at Braverman Eye Center and Eye Centers of South Florida. Dr. Blanchard has lectured for Johnson & Johnson Vistakon, maker of the famous Acuvue brand of soft lenses. He is a member of the Central Texas Optometric Association.
