Dr.Joneswas born and raised in SouthernCalifornia, where she attended UCLA for undergrad and studied Biology. Both of her parents worked in healthcare, and she was always interested in a career where she could help people. After working as a technician at herfamily friend's pediatric and vision therapy optometryoffice, she decided optometry would be the perfect fit. Dr.Jonescould get to know patients personally while solving their vision problems. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Optometry from Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University in 2020.
After graduation, Dr.Jonesmoved across the country to Boston, Massachusetts, where she completed a residency in Ocular Disease and Primary Care at the Boston Veterans Affairs Healthcare System and later worked at a boutique practice in the Greater Boston area.
The search for sunnier weather and better tacos led Dr.Jonesand her partner, Jeremy, to Central Texas. She feels fortunate to now call Texas home and to be providing great eye care to the wonderful families in Austin.
Outside of work, Dr.Jonesenjoys exploring new restaurants and taking in the beautiful scenery of Texas Hill Country on weekends.
