As an adult psychiatrist and mental health nurse practitioner, I have a deep-rooted passion for providing quality and compassionate care to individuals navigating mental health challenges. With over 13 years of experience in New York and New Jersey, I have developed a strong understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by mental health patients. I have tailored my work around virtual consultation, serving clients facing anxiety, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, panic attacks, obsessive-compulsive disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorders, mood disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder. I earned my bachelor's degree from Pace University, which laid the foundation for my commitment to patient-centered care. Over the years, I have centered my approach on a personalized treatment blend that emphasizes collaboration with patients to tailor their care plans. This collaborative approach has become a cornerstone of strong patient relationships. Additionally, I believe in a holistic approach to assessing, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans. NP Kolleh was so kind and open to helping me with my mental health. She did a thorough intake while allowing me to openly explain my past and current in an extremely safe and supportive environment. I’m someone that has struggled with anxiety and depression for far too long and we set a plan up together. She was open to my concerns and what I thought might be a good option for me. She also was conservative regarding treatment (which is exactly what I wanted), and I felt safe knowing I have a follow up in two weeks.

I liked this provider quite a bit. She seems capable and like a good listener. However I find dealing with the office to be a bit tricky. It is very difficult to get anyone on the phone. They prefer to text, which I can appreciate, but for conversations longer than about a sentence, I prefer a phone call. Not an insurmountable hurdle but be prepared.

Ms Kolleh listened and didn’t judge. There was clearly communication and dialogue between us. I was comfortable in opening up about the problems and situations I’ve been facing and she told me the things I needed to hear whether good or bad.
I would recommend Ms.Kolleh to anyone that just needs to speak with something which is more so the reason I chose her and I’m glad I did.

Dr. Tuwain Kolleh was truly the most amazing and professional. I have been struggling mentally for a very long time and was always hesitant to receive help in fear of being told I was fine or I was being dramatic. Dr. Kolleh made me feel both calm and heard. I would recommend her 10x over again and again. I have never felt this clarity and sense of calmness that I am okay even if I may have some mental things going on and if it wasn’t for Dr. Kolleh, I wouldn’t have this amazing feeling.
