Genuine kindness and concern, that’s what Dr. Val’s patients expect to feel in her clinic, over and over. She treats them as though they were close friends: welcoming them warmly, listening intently, and making them feel heard.
That’s how she felt growing up in Plainfield, IL where she was never alone or bored, because the area offered plenty of activities. From hiking trails to outdoor cafes to street fairs with live local music and dancing.
Dr. Val remembers deciding to be a chiropractor in 5th grade. Since her father and grandfather always saw a chiropractor, it seemed only natural that she and her sisters would too. Observing her role models healing through natural, holistic health care inspired her passion to do the same someday. Promoting health and wellness is in her blood.
Wellness for Dr. Val is the physical, emotional, and mental state of health and happiness. She maintains her own wellness by surrounding herself with people that make her feel safe, practicing yoga, walking, biking, and of course, getting regular adjustments.
Since earning her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Val has been successfully treating patients with personalized pain management protocols that combine gentle adjustments with supervised active therapies.
