About Dr. Ron Trottier
Dr. Ron Trottier has been providing quality effective chiropractic care to the Chicago area since 1996. Being a Chiropractic Physician as well as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Injury Physician enables him to provide effective treatment protocols for many joint, muscle and nerve related conditions including many sports injuries.
Dr. Ron Trottier utilizes the most up-to-date chiropractic techniques and therapeutic modalities, as well as massage therapy to provide effective treatments for many conditions. Dr. Trottier strives to correct the underlying problem, not just treat the symptoms.
Dr. Ron Trottier believes in utilizing a hands-on approach, advanced Chiropractic techniques, and state-of-the-art physiotherapy modalities in the treatment of pain and its underlying causes. Dr. Trottier is a hockey player and knows first-hand the need for Chiropractic and physical medicine for all active people. In fact, his first visit to a Chiropractor was for a hockey injury at an early age. From that point on he continued to seek the benefits that chiropractors had to offer him. He eventually decided to help others as he had been helped. He became a Chiropractor in 1995 and soon went on to become a Certified Chiropractic Sports Injury Physician.
Dr. Ron Trottier majored in Biology at the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada. After receiving his Bachelors of Science Degree he went on to receive his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois. He did his internship at the Chicago NCC Clinic where he became active in nutrition and sports medicine. Dr. Trottier completed his post graduate studies at the National University of Health Sciences to become a Board Certified Chiropractic Sports Injury Physician. Dr. Trottier treats many types of conditions from general joint and muscle aches and pains, to severe sciatic pain.
