About Dr. Victoria Shikhman
Dr. Victoria Shikhman is the founder and Clinical Director of White Oak Center, established in 2005 to provide the highest quality holistic care with a personalized approach to addressing her patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual health needs.
Dr. Shikhman is a board-certified Naturopathic Physician and a licensed naturopathic physician in the State of Connecticut. She is also a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP).
Her extensive experience in naturopathic medicine, acupuncture and Chinese medicine, botanical medicine, homeopathy, and clinical nutrition enables her to effectively treat many acute and chronic diseases. She is an expert in alternative therapies for Lyme disease, women's health, autoimmune conditions, digestive disorders, and numerous other chronic conditions.
Dr. Shikhman earned her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine, one of only four nationally accredited naturopathic medical schools in the United States and the only one on the East Coast. To remain current with the latest advances in both conventional and alternative medicine, she regularly attends professional seminars, conducts her own research, and reviews the latest medical publications.

I met Dr. Shikhman over FaceTime and was able to show her my rashes / hives, all the vitamin supplements that I take on a daily basis. She took time to listen to my discomforts / ailments and asked appropriate questions. She then recommended a three week detox program for me to help us get to the root of my complaints. It’s been now seven days and I’m beginning to feel better. Fingers crossed.
I’m curious to see long term effects of this detox program and will continue seeing Dr. Shikhman for these conditions as well as any potential future ones. She was kind, thoughtful, patient and knowledgeable.
