“After an invasive and uncomfortable experience at my past gyno’s office, I switched to Austin Women’s. I was seen basically as soon as I walked in the door, and the intake staff listened to all of my needs and had my info I uploaded from Zocdoc. I was in and out of the office in about 20-30 minutes, and did not even have to undergo any unnecessary or intrusive exams for my treatment! It was excellent service and I will be returning.”

I would definitely recommend this office to other ladies! It was very comfortable and the ladies who worked there were so kind and patient and even dealt with me while I was sick in their office. Ginger (Virginia) is a very sweet and funny lady! I honestly did not feel that anxious during my appointment which was cool since I typically have terrible anxiety at medical appointments, especially my first time visiting new places.
You will not be judged here or made to feel uncomfortable, it is truly a very feminist and supportive environment where it is obvious that the practitioners really want the best for you and will do all they can to help.
The only downside of this clinic is that they have a very small staff so the wait times are astronomical compared to larger practices; I had to wait over an hour before I was seen in addition to the extra 15 minutes they said to be early for, but the waiting room is very calm and nice so it was okay, and the kindness of the staff makes it worth going here rather than other practices. I finally found my happy gyno place! :)

I personally dread these “women’s” appointments, but I was recently seen by Virginia (Ginger) and I’ve never felt more comfortable with a provider, let alone an OBGYN. She was so kind and listened empathetically to all of me and my partner’s concerns/questions. I’ve never had such a caring, pain free, and reassuring experience. Highly recommend - especially if you get a little anxiety about these types of appointments!!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with Virginia Ridout, APRN. From the moment I walked in, she made me feel comfortable and cared for. The removal of my IUD was handled with such gentleness and expertise that what I expected to be an uncomfortable or stressful process turned out to be seamless and surprisingly easy.
She also had incredible bedside manner. She took the time to explained the pros and cons of hormone replacement therapy. Truly one of the best medical experiences of my life.

Visit was fine. They did overbook appointments because they assume they’ll have no-shows, but everyone apparently made it to their appts, so I had to wait around almost 1.5 hours. Other than that, the staff was friendly and the NP was nice and through. Office is no frills, also a little hard to spot from the frontage road, so go slow when driving— it’s the first right after the apartments in a little green building that looks like an older home.

My experience was fairly positive, and I will be going back to this provider. I went in for an annual wellness exam, and to get my first Pap smear. I also wanted to discuss birth control options.
I am nonbinary, and they were fairly accommodating (did initially misgender me, but were sensitive to what I was or was not comfortable with in the exam).
I did wait a good amount of time (appointment at 3:15, seen by 3:40ish), but it was manageable. I suspect that the wait occurred because they don't rush patients out.
The doctor was very knowledgeable and gave me a ton of information on birth control methods, and made sure to be mindful of my lifestyle and preferences when recommending things.
I ended up having an adverse reaction to the Pap smear, and the doctor was very kind and reassuring to me. She also ultimately gave me the option to try and do a self-administered Pap, and was just really good in handling my freak-out both clinically and interpersonally.

Ginger was very patient with me and their personality made me feel at ease immediately. They understood I had vaginismus and talked to me about options to ease my discomfort and pain which I very much appreciated. Natalia was very sweet as well and even held my hand and was very affirming during the examination. My very first pap smear went better than I had expected. Would highly recommend them to others suffering from vaginismus or pelvic floor issues.
