Typically I like to take a skills-based approach to therapy, using approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), to help clients learns skills and strategies to manage their mental health concerns on their own. This means that we'll look at how we can change your thoughts and behaviors in order to decrease the intensity of your emotions. At the end of therapy you'll have a set of tools that you can use on your own on a daily basis!
