Simons Therapy was formed to provide a space for people of all ages and backgrounds to begin their paths to self-improvement. I work with people in person as well as remotely through HIPAA-compliant video telehealth technology.
I am a licensed psychologist dedicated to working with people going through challenging times in their lives. I specialize in eating and body image concerns, depression, anxiety, relationships, and life changes. I center my work around each individual's unique attributes and focus on helping people utilize their inherent self-worth, personal strengths, and individual goals. Using this approach, I help navigate the gap between who we know we are and what others expect of us. I use my warmth and gentle humor to help my clients feel at ease and engage in the work of living their fullest lives.
I earned my PsyD in Counseling Psychology and my Master's in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis, and I hold a bachelor's degree from St. Norbert College. I have spent the majority of my career working in community mental health in the Denver Metro area, with expertise providing individual and group therapy to individuals experiencing a range of psychological issues. In addition to my work at Simons Therapy, I currently work as a psychologist at Jefferson Center for Mental Health. I formerly served as a clinical supervisor at Mental Health Partners in Boulder, worked as a crisis clinician at Rocky Mountain Crisis Partners, and served as an affiliate professor at Metropolitan State University.
