I’ve been suffering with this chronic neck/back pain for almost two decades, but none of the doctors were able to fix my problem. Even my family members who happen to be doctors, they tried their best but none helped.
Dr. Won Yoo helps you in both a physical and holistic way. The way he talks you through your life and examines your body…It almost felt like a therapy session I almost cried?? He finds the problems from that and guides you thoroughly on what you need to do to get better.
And then the magical *CRACK* happens…He does his thing with explanation of what he is fixing. This already feels so good.
And then you get some nice wave & electric therapy. Way more effective than normal massages.
I’m already feeling so much better with my first visit. Can’t wait to see how I get better throughout multiple sessions!”

About Dr. Won Yoo
Dr. Yoo specializes in acute and chronic spine, joint, and neurological disorders and injuries (neuro-musculo-skeletal and related disorders and injuries), including whiplash/auto injury, sports injury, and work injury. He is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Medical Legal Professionals (DAAMLP) and a Certified Industrial Disability Examiner (IDE) in the State of California. Dr. Yoo earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College West and completed his internship at Life West Health Center. He also holds a bachelor's degree from San Francisco State University. He has obtained certification in Whiplash and Brain Injury Traumatology at the Spine Research Institute of San Diego and has extensive post-doctoral training in sports chiropractic from the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. Currently, he is undertaking post-doctoral courses in Neurology from the Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies.
Dr. Yoo is also a member of the American Academy of Medical Legal Professionals, the First Chiropractic Physician Association of America, and the American Academy of Spine Physicians.
Additionally, Dr. Yoo serves as a medical columnist for the San Francisco Kyocharo Newspaper and is the team doctor for the San Francisco Athletic Team.

My first office visit was not great unfortunately.
The doctor seemed knowledgeable, but my appointment consisted of 10mins adjustments and 20mins of what I think was EMS.
I paid 10x the copay set by my insurance (Blue Shield) because the doctor administered “physical therapy” without communicating that. Since the adjustment portion was so short and there was no disclaimer that the next part’s considered PT, I assumed everything was part of the chiropractic adjustment.
The office admin let me know afterwards that if I do not wish to pay the extra fee for PT then I need to express that to her before the session. I wish she told me that beforehand. They also tried to make me purchase an ointment, making it sound necessary without telling me what exactly it is. They planned 3 visits per week for me, but I won’t be returning as things feel sneaky here.
Also the power dynamic between the admin and doc made me uncomfortable. She (admin) was apologizing to him constantly.

Dr. Yoo is a very knowledgeable person who can explain things very well. He started with a thorough evaluation and testing of my condition and began treatment right away. I have been suffering for two weeks with pain. I am not 100 percent back to normal yet but I am definitely on my way. My pain level has decreased by about 80% -which is significant. I went from taking an Uber to get to the office clinic to being able to walk home. The walk is only 10-15 minutes but uphill.

Absolutely amazing experience with Dr. Yoo and his staff. Making an appointment online was very easy. The office followed up prior to my arrival making sure I understood my coverage. Dr. Yoo was fantastic...great listener but also assessed my situation very quickly. He made the adjustment and suggested daily exercises as well as a treatment plan.
