The doctor I've been looking for in NYC!! She's very hands on. She is down to earth, talks to you in terms you can understand, and everything is done right there in the office (blood work, urine test, EKG, vaccines). Very thorough! I will definitely stick with her!

Dr. Brown was born and raised in New York City. She speaks both English and Spanish. She graduated from New York University with a BA in Biology. She obtained her medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. She subsequently completed an internship year of General Medicine at Metropolitan Hospital in Manhattan followed by a residency program in Family and Social Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine – Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY.
Following the completion of her residency training Dr. Brown spent several years working in NYC at the Midtown Health Center in Midtown Manhattan. As an Attending physician she engaged in direct routine patient care and health maintenance of Pediatric, Adult and Geriatric patients. She also supervised a weekly Women’s Health clinic, which provided breast and cervical cancer screening as well as management of vaginitis, sexually transmitted diseases & urinary tract infections. She also provided counseling regarding birth control and prescriptions, menstrual disorders, weight management, exercise and nutrition, drug/alcohol abuse screening, heart disease prevention, osteoporosis treatment and prevention.
Dr. Brown believes in providing comprehensive patient care as well as maintaining continuity of care with her patients.

Dr. Brown is OK - she is a bit pushy with what she "recommends" and since she likes to be very cautious, it usually means more medication rather than less. Not a huge fan of this approach.

Had my first appointment today and everything went great. After filling out the paperwork I was seated for all of 15 seconds before I was called in by the doctor herself. She introduced herself with a huge smile and we began to chat. There really isn't more I could ask for.

There was a minor issue with the Zoc Doc appointment. When I arrived her receptionist said I wasn't in the system. But Dr.Brown made sure to see me anyway and was only 15min after the supposed appointment. The staff was very kind and professional. And I can not say enough Good things about Dr.Brown. In this huge city I've finally found a doctor I want to stick with for as long as she practices medicine.

As soon as I entered the office she was ready to see me. She was sweet and kind. I was only able to see her for 5 minutes before I was told she didn't take my insurance which was not her or her office's fault at all but it was ZocDoc's fault. So I'm currently suffering from depression bc for a moment I thought I found my Primary Care Physician but now I have to keep searching. I don't think I'll find anyone who can compare to Dr. Brown.

Dr. Brown is really great. What a refreshing experience. She's right there with you - she even calls her patients in from the waiting room herself. I felt like I had her full attention during my entire appointment, and she seemed to have genuine interest in my answers to her questions. I would definitely go back to this doctor, and recommend her to my friends.

Dr. Brown is excellent! She has great bedside manor, is very prompt and just a pleasure to talk to. It was my first time seeing her. I went in for my physical and she was very patient, kind, and offered great information and advice. I would definitely recommend her.

Dr. Brown is a terrific doctor! She is very thorough and made great recommendations for labs and exams (unfortunately I had to beg for some of these labs from other doctors previously). She is also highly personable and made me feel very comfortable during the check-up. It is also a bonus that she is both a primary care provider and gynecologist.. I am very thankful to have found her and left her office in good spirits!
