About Yaquelin Quintero

Yaquelin Quintero went to medical school in Cuba and graduated in 1996 as an M.D. She came to the United States in 2000 and got her master's degree in nursing from The University of South Florida. She serves as a dermatology clinical preceptor for the University of South Florida's College of Nursing Master's and Doctoral students. Yaquelin is fluent in Spanish and see's patients from one year old and up. Yaquelin has over 11 years of experience in general and surgical dermatology and is skilled at performing surgical procedures like skin cancer removal and cyst removal. She is also passionate about preventing, detecting, and treating skin cancer and disorders of the skin, nails, and hair. Yaquelin also helps patients rediscover their youthful skin with cosmetic services like BOTOX® Cosmetic, Juvéderm®, and Restylane® Dermal Fillers. Yaquelin is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Dermatology Nurse Association, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and the Florida Association of Physician Assistants.
