Hi, my name is Yeon Kim, a national board-certified Physician Assistant with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Psychiatry.
My commitment to mental health was deeply influenced by my experience serving in primary care during the COVID-19 pandemic—a pivotal period that solidified my dedication to the field of psychiatry. I hold a Doctor of Medical Science degree with a specialization in Psychiatry from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions, as well as a Master of Medical Science and Public Health from Arcadia University.
I provide evidence-based mental health care with a thoughtful, compassionate approach. I take time to understand your needs and offer clear guidance tailored to your goals, creating a safe and supportive space for lasting wellbeing.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Convenient and secure telemedicine services are available for adult patients across California, offering virtual consultations with licensed healthcare providers—all from the comfort and privacy of home.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Before your initial evaluation, we will send you the intake forms and other required documents to complete. Completion of these forms is very important and must be done at least 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment.
We will also reach out to you to confirm your appointment. Please schedule an appointment only if you can attend. If not, please cancel the appointment. This policy helps ensure that appointment times are respected and that availability is reserved for patients who require care.
The initial evaluation is a comprehensive one-hour appointment. Follow-up sessions are typically 30 minutes in duration and focus primarily on medication management and on addressing any concerns or questions you may have.
Out-of-pocket fees and assistance
Initial session: $199 for 60 minutes
Ongoing session: $99 for 30 minutes

Dr. Kim is a godsend! Not only does he provide excellent care, he is exceptionally caring too. He even gives medicine coupons to help the patient with the cost. Dr. Kim is very attentive to the patient's needs, and provide very generous help to his patients. Although he is an expert in many fields, he is very open to listen to ideas and suggestions too. Dr. Kim also has great availability, so you don't have to wait many days to see him.
