In addition, Dr. Chen cares for a large number of women with hereditary cancer syndromes. Dr. Chen has extensive training in minimally invasive surgery, extended pelvic resections, and pelvic reconstructive surgery. Dr. Chen is passionate about novel treatments that change the landscape of gynecologic oncology. She participates in clinical trials and has published peer-reviewed articles in prominent journals. Dr. Chen also holds a Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management, in which she concentrates on how cancer disparities impact health outcomes. A major focus of Dr. Yi-Ju Chen's work is delivering state-of-the-art gynecologic cancer care to her patients. Dr. Chen is a full member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
