Melissa Kresch
,PhD
Dr. Kresch made me feel very comfortable and was easy to talk to. She seemed very helpful and supportive on my first visit.
Dr. Gindy is a skilled professional. She is warm, compassionate, and you can tell that she truly cares. When I started meeting with her, I felt pretty depressed and anxious. I spent most of my time at home, and felt very nervous in crowds of people. She helped me get back to my life and to change a lot of negative thoughts that I had about myself and others. When I feel anxious now, I know that I can handle it by using the tools that we have practiced together. Thank you Dr. Gindy!
Dr. Menaker is just wonderful. There's no other way to put it. I would highly recommend him as a therapist.
Dr. Alvarado was a third therapist that I tried. Unlike the other two who were more interested in pinning and blaming all my problems on my parents, Dr. Alvarado actually gave me tools and skills to help. He really pointed me in the right direction and I literally tell everyone about him.
Dr. Barbierie is a gentle, thoughtful, attentive practitioner who is very knowledgeable in many modalities. I have found great relief from back pain from her acupuncture treatments. I highly recommend her.
Julia Yacoob
,PhD
Julia was great during our sessions. Great bedside manner and seemed to understand my underlying issues and, more importantly, how to handle me as a person (I don't respond well to open ended questions; very direct). I was a fan and hoped she would help. Needed to reschedule my 3rd appointment due to a work conflict - she was fine w it and offered another option because she was going on vacay after me (week). I didn't respond to her in time as I was in Europe. Received an email with deadline for confirming appointment. Didn't respond in time and never heard from her again. Not sure I would have handled it that way if my job were to make people better.
Dr. Schaeffer is an extremely warm and empathetic therapist who creates a comfortable and judgement - free environment for healing and self - discovery.
Dr. Wassermann is an excellent therapist. I've been seeing her for over a year now and she is great! She helped me work through my issues by providing practical tools to deal with my problems along with "insights" about my past. She is smart, empathic and caring, and I strongly recommend her!
Dr. Plunket was incredibly empathetic, understanding and gave great insight. I was appreciative that she provided feedback and input as opposed to allowing me to talk the entire time.
David London
,PhD
Experienced, knowledgeable and precise in the treatment. Addressed my issues effectively.
Dr. Protter interrupted me a few times and has a brusque bedside manner. I know that's been mentioned in previous reviews before. However he is also very honest, which can be positive or negative depending on your treatment goals.
An extremely positive experience. Dr Dobrenski is personable and straightforward and I immediately felt at ease.
Very Professional
I have been seeing Dr. Stemple for years and she has always been incredibly professional, kind and attentive. She's very easy to talk to and has always made me feel comfortable, even when discussing difficult topics. She knows when to just let me talk, or when to ask questions (and which questions to ask!). Our sessions fly by because of the ease with which we discuss whatever happens to be going on that day. She has helped me through a number of different difficult issues over the years, and I have always felt well-supported and understood by her.
