A chance interaction as a freshman led to his accepting an offer to work within an innovative summer camp, designed under social work auspice, for home-bound and isolated individuals. After devoting a few summers to this philanthropic endeavor, the positive impact upon the program’s participants was impossible to miss and was deeply inspirational for Dr. Lieberman.
