after arrival and appointment said never confirmed .

Very unreliable. Misses appointments without notice and doesn't bother to call afterwards to apologize or inquire about rescheduling. Cancels appointments right before they are scheduled claiming some family complication. Both of these issues have happened more than a handful of times. It's even more unbelievable this happens since it's been switched to video appointments instead of in person. If you have a reason to rely on a therapist, don't schedule with her, she won't be there for you.

Abby is genuine, caring, and insightful. She has a way of making me feel at ease, like im talking to an old friend. Highly recommend!
I saw Abby twice and I liked her but you was very preoccupied during our first session. She was constantly checking her phone & sending texts or emails either one. I was very offended by that. She had to ask me repeat things after each time and just wasn't professional at all. I made the second appointment thinking well maybe she was having a bad day I don't know what's going on in her life so I excused it. Then she did the same during the second session and even more. Then I was searching for another therapist and I ran across some of Abby's reviews and seen were other people had the same complaint. I feel a therapist should be 100% engaged with the patient during their time together.
Abby has been so helpful as a therapist in my life. It has taken so long for me to find a good, positive, supportive therapist and she is fabulous! It feels like talking to a girlfriend! I definitely recommend her if your looking for someone to help you grow and prosper in your life :)
Abby is very nice and I felt comfortable with her in her office. It's unfortunate she lacks administrative etiquette. Often we would wait 15 plus minutes before being seen. Most counselors I've seen collect co payments at the session. She didn't ,leaving a hefty balance after a couple months. She also canceled a session two days prior to the scheduled appointment and later tried to guilt trip us for missing two sessions when we had to cancel. Challenging our commitment to our therepy. Abby would often ask questions over again in the same session because she seemingly wasn't paying attention. She would forget important back story that was important to our recovery narrative during session, stoping the conversation in session for clarification. My wife recalled once she even answered her phone during a session to respond to a babysitter. The thing is any one of these things are understandable and forgivable. But all of them is just not professional. Again Abby is very nice and thought provoking during sessions. It's her clerical strengths that were just too distracting to continue therepy.
Easy contact and laid back environment.

I'm getting better communicating w/ my spouse.
My son (7yo) has been seeing Abby 6 mos for behavioral issues/opposition at home and school. She has been focusing on positive reinforcement and cognitive behavioral therapy. We have seen great improvements at home and his teachers have also had a lot of positive feedback-
I really enjoyed seeing Abby Koch. She helped me adjust to college and together we came up with great coping skills which I use constantly.
Our therapist, Ms. Abby Koch, was very kind, a good listener, and had great ideas. This was our first visit and will definitely be back. Abby has introduced us (my husband and I) to the Gotman Techniques and it has been very beneficial.
