Liz is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, as well as, a Registered Art Therapist, with her Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Adler University. She is a Level 1 & 2 Gottman Method Couples Clinician, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and is Certified in Critical Incident Stress Management for Individuals & Group. She worked for eight years at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in the Behavioral Health program facilitating various groups. She has been in private practice for over fifteen years and has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Liz uses a variety of counseling approaches to help her clients create a healthier and more functioning lifestyle. Throughout the therapy process, she provides insight regarding emerging patterns, education related to behaviors and symptomology, encourages the development of coping skills, stress management, mindfulness, expands parenting skills, and much more. Each of these methods are introduced throughout the therapy journey, and is communicated in an empathic, nurturing and accepting environment.
