Everyone goes through bumps, twists, and turns on the road of life. Sometimes life gets a little harder and you look for something more to help you manage. I can work with you to help you navigate what life throws at you, whether it be stress at work, problems with dating, making and maintaining friendships and relationships, fertility issues, postpartum to adolescent parenting, and other life transitions. Working together, we can help you find just the right balance in your life.
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with 18 years of experience providing individual and family psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Family and Human Services from the University of Oregon, earned my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Columbia University, and earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College in New York City. I have provided treatment and care for children and families involved in residential and foster care system, worked for a prosecutor’s office as a counselor for those who have experienced or witnessed violent crimes, I have gained knowledge and expertise in issues related to fertility, prenatal and perinatal adjustment, and postpartum depression and anxiety.
I provide an eclectic and collaborative style of therapy that considers each individual’s unique background, identity and specific needs. I have a wide knowledge base of what treatments work well with not only symptoms but the patient as a whole. I specialize in both long-term and short-term treatment and will work collaboratively with you to determine what would be the right fit for your needs.
