Hi there, I'm Vivian! I'm a native of the Mansfield area and graduated from Madison Comprehensive High School and The Ohio State University. I remain invested in my hometown and am excited to walk beside other Buckeyes in their quest to find balance in their lives. I hold a licensure in the state of Ohio as a Licensed Independent Social Worker Supervisor and a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor. My approach Working together to find solutions is the foundation of my clinical strengths. I focus on working with others to address emotional and behavioral issues while using different strategies and therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Gestalt Therapy, and Exposure Therapy. My focus I believe that therapy can be the catalyst for finding balance in one’s life. I have spent many years working with individuals and families who are struggling with addictions, anxiety, trauma, and depression. Providing a safe place for individuals and families to begin their recovery is instrumental in developing stability. My clinical experience has also included working with Veterans and their families. My communication style Open communication to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment is the way that I prefer to communicate. My journey to mental healthcare In describing my journey into becoming a therapist, I would say that my personal life experiences were the catalyst. I know through hard work, resilience, and perseverance that change is possible. It has always been my goal to provide hope and encouragement to those who invite me into their journey.
