Albert Villaluna graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, in the Philippines. After graduating in 2008, he initially worked as a personal trainer in Gold’s Gym Philippines; as he is one who strongly values working closely and hand-in-hand with clients/patients to achieve superior health and wellness goals.
In 2013, Albert moved to New York City to work as a full-time physical therapist. Over time, he became the head physical therapist in a 300-bed nursing home facility in Queens, where he also gained much experience treating orthopedic, neurological, post-operative cases, and even psychiatric patient conditions.
He later went on to receive his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Dominican College of Blauvelt Orangeburg, NY in 2017. Going forward, he moved on to practice and work in various outpatient facilities specializing in musculoskeletal conditions, where he also diversified and treated a wide range of patients from children to geriatrics. His clinical interests continue to grow and include manual therapy, patient relations, patient goal-setting, prevention over cure, etc.
With 8 years of clinical practice and experience in varied settings; and placing high value and interest in his patients’ restored wellness & improved quality of life, Albert is incessantly inspired and fully motivated in providing an extensive, patient-centered rehabilitation approach to improved personal holistic wellness. His many years of experience in the field have made him believe that the most important factor in patient treatment and plan of care resulting in superior outcomes is patient education and prevention. That is why, over the years, he has continued to expand his knowledge and skills through continuing education and practice.
