Getting to know Allegra (Ella) Keeling

Hi! I know that starting your therapy journey can feel intimidating and even scary. My goal as your therapist is to guide and support you through your healing process. I hold a Master's in Counseling from Mid-America Christian University, and my counseling style is person-centered, which means I offer unconditional positive regard for each individual. I believe that every person has the inner wisdom and the answers to life's difficult questions, as well as the capacity for healing within themselves. My aim is to provide a safe space where you can discover those answers and experience healing.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I utilize an eclectic approach where I incorporate aspects of somatic therapy (feelings related to body sensations) as well as inner child work to help heal each person’s inner child.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I utilize talk therapy and work with adult women and some of my specialties include: healing childhood trauma, building confidence and self-esteem, healing relationship with body image and unhealthy relationships with food, learning to set boundaries without guilt, reframing cognitive distortions, and finding coping skills that can help alleviate symptoms of anxiety.
