Allison was lovely, empathetic, patient, and made me feel immediately at ease. This was my first session, just an intake but I absolutely downloaded more than I intended and I believe that is due to the atmosphere Allison provided allowing me to feel comfortable enough to do so. She started and ended our sessions with some grounding exercises and immediately was able to vocalize what I have been experiencing and perhaps avoiding. I will be continuing to see her regularly.

I’m a Resident in Counseling in Virginia who has been practicing counseling since 2023. I have a Master's of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marymount University, and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Economics and Sociology with a Minor in International Studies.
I started my career in the counseling field as a therapist with the Loudoun County Domestic Violence Intervention Program. I continue working with the program, providing individual and group psychoeducation on emotional regulation and healthy relationships.
