I am an integrative therapist trained with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. I use a variety of approaches, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based interventions, to help guide therapy. I am passionate about meeting you where you are and helping you discover your life's purposes and find meaning in your life.
As a counselor, I recognize the privilege it is to listen to your story. I am not here to judge you but to listen. My goal is to lessen the weight you carry and create a space of safety, creativity, respect, and self-growth. I believe in the power of change and use mindful practices to foster self-awareness and bring loving kindness to our deepest human flaws. I see therapy as both a challenging and healing process.
One of my favorite aspects of my work is learning and growing with diverse individuals-creators, developers, educators, leaders, and dreamers. I focus on bringing attention to the present moment. I work with unique individuals seeking therapy because change is needed. An ideal client is someone willing to show up and invest time and energy into doing the work, even when things get challenging. I help you lean into the areas of your life needing improvement by offering unconditional positive regard coupled with mindful self-compassion practices.
