I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults, and primarily treat anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. I work with an integrative approach and base my practice techniques on the unique needs of the individual, as psychotherapy is not based on a "one size fits all" approach. I work eclectically using a variety of modalities including Relational, CBT and Psychodynamic therapy. I pay close attention to the relationships within a client's life, provide tools on how to effectively alter troubling thoughts and behaviors, and take into consideration the individual's past experiences.
I believe that psychotherapy is a collaborative experience and I understand the importance of a strong therapeutic relationship. Therefore, I take an active approach with my clients and bring a relatable approach to the therapy. Together we work towards effectively treating the problem, recognizing the effects that it has on your life, and creating a different, more beneficial experience.
I strive to create a non-judgmental, warm environment where clients feel safe to speak freely. I hope that my clients leave each session feeling progress being made toward their goals. Finding a therapist can be difficult, and I am here to support you throughout this process.
