She’s awesome she was able to tell me right away what my trouble was can’t wait for more upcoming appointment she’s a very wise woman and a good listener:)
I have been seeing Anahi Rubin for a few months and have had great success. It is my first time with a therapist and I am very pleased; within the short time I have seen her I have been able to overcome the issue I was dealing with and we are now working on new topics. She is very straight forward, which may not be for everyone, but it works for me. She will challenge me to make me think in different ways, and some people might not be able to handle that type of approach, but overall, I am very happy that I chose to seek therapy and chose Ms. Rubin to guide me through it. She is an excellent listener, and able to recall and draw upon anything you tell her whether it was last week or 2 months ago. I would definitely recommend giving her a try!

She’s awesome she was able to tell me right away what my trouble was can’t wait for more upcoming appointment she’s a very wise woman and a good listener:)
After traveling for almost 2 hours, I arrived at Dr. Anahi Rubin’s office and found out that she accidentally canceled my other appointment that wasn’t on ZocDoc, which was so unprofessional and completely inconsiderate of patient’s time. A week before, I had given her the benefit of the doubt after our rushed first “interview” meeting, which only lasted 20 minutes, instead of the usual 45. She seems to be all over the place and is not a good listener at all. Even with 30 years of experience, she did not make me feel like my problems are valid and does not have the aptitude to show for it. After talking to her, I end up more confused than feeling at ease. Would definitely not recommend Dr. Rubin for unprofessionalism and being disorganized.
I thought Dr. Rubin was extremely nice, but my experience wasn't really what I've expected since this my first time doing therapy. I was torn of writing this review but I was advised to give feedback so others didn't have to the same experience as me. The session didn't start 30+ mins after our schedule appointment, which started in the wrong foot. It seem there were some communication issues with the her and the front desk? I understand it was our first meeting, but the conversation felt very surface level and non-engaging. Dr. Rubin discussed her personal opinions of the political climate and America's healthcare, which I thought it was kind of unprofessional. I didn't get a sense of our meeting being a therapy session at all. The session lasted about 30 mins in total, it felt more like a meet and greet. I felt leaving a bit confused and unproductive.
Not the most happening physiotherapist out there, but I did appreciate the work that we did together. She wasn’t familiar with a lot of alternative healing techniques or any 12 step fellowships.
Me even going to therapy was difficult enough and it’s a shame when you leave a session more confused and frustrated than when you came in....in my opinion she’s not very good. She goes off topic and rambled about other stuff that’s not even related to what my concerns were. Her sessions are also ridiculously short...less than 45 minutes for each session with her cutting you off, constantly looking at the clock and rushing the session makes me think she does not care and is just in it for the money. I also think that she has trouble relating to people from other backgrounds other than her own...she mentioned several times (without me asking) her experience in working with Latino people but I felt she was unwilling to respect when someone is not Latino which was very annoying. I don’t recommend her at all and will not be going back.

She's to the point and I'm okay with that. Sometimes we get caught up in things that also prevent us from healing or thinking straight. She keeps you on track.

I would say that her style isn't for everyone but it's clear she really cares and knows what she's doing. Her accent while speaking English is a little thick, which made her feedback hard to understand at times but it wasn't the end of the world. She interrupts you, I think to help you get to the root of something faster, but I found it to make me trip over my train of thought or lose sight of an insight I was having. I can see this style being helpful for some and a serious hindrance for others. She also answered the phone during our appointment at one point which seemed unprofessional. I liked her a lot as a person but she might not be the therapist for me.

Dr. Anahi Rubin, She was a professional and the most that I liked about my session with her was her honesty! I saw her once and I am glad I did because it only took one session! Gracias, Dra. Rubin!

Didn’t offer substantial feedback or guidance. Was unable to prompt conversation with questions. Bedside manner was unsatisfactory and cold. The only recommendation I received was to seem psychiatric treatment/medication.
After my daughter’s very short 20 minutes consultation, and her disappointment with the session, I was left feeling the following. Do your homework on a therapist because not every therapist deserve to hear your story. Talk to a potential therapist via phone and get a feel of them before you book an appointment. Don’t be afraid to say no to a therapist who doesn’t validate your feelings or who doesn’t seem to be listening to you or whom have their own agenda. You are the expert on your own life. Now I know and am teaching my daughter how to navigate this very broken mental health system.

Muy buena y satisfactoria

Very kind with no nonsense approach which I liked. Sessions are 30-45 minutes. I wish the space was decorated a bit more to make the office more inviting.
Fantastico medico
Dr. Rubin is comforting presence, but still challenges your status quo. Her questions made me think differently about myself. I also felt validated for certain aspects of my visit.
