Getting to know Christelle Bacha

I offer a supportive, empathetic, and collaborative space in which to explore and navigate life's challenges and goals. I strive to empower you to develop insight through self-reflection, as well as offer concrete skills and tools to support you in managing daily stressors. My multicultural background grants me a special sensitivity and curiosity towards cultural expressions and their impact on identity, relationships, and the therapeutic process. Drawing on trauma-focused, psychodynamic, mindfulness, and somatic approaches, I tailor my approach to best address each individual's unique needs and abilities. I am trained in integrative approaches for treating complex PTSD, including EMDR. Additional clinical areas include depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, relationships, and career and life transitions. I hold a Master's in Social Work and a Bachelor's degree from Columbia University. Training and certifications include: 2-Year Integrated Trauma Training Program at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy; EMDRIA-approved EMDR training (EMDR Center of the Rockies); and a 7-Month Master Course on Attachment Wounding & Identity in Adult Survivors of Childhood Trauma.
