Hello! I'm Andrea R. Arauco, a Licensed Therapist and Founder of Mamay In Bloom Counseling. I earned my Master's in Social Work from Barry University. My goal is to empower, support, and help you manage mental obstacles as well as conquer the challenges that arise from your unique experiences. My private practice provides counseling services via a secure Telehealth platform. I specialize in treating new moms through pregnancy and postpartum, as well as women's life transitions. Additionally, I am a qualified supervisor for registered clinical social work interns throughout Florida, Connecticut, and Massachusetts.
In the past, I have worked in a variety of treatment settings, including outpatient therapy in public and private schools, hospitals, and non-profit organizations. I truly believe in a comprehensive and holistic approach to treatment. I focus on the person as a whole, considering both their present and past to help strengthen the best version of themselves. Research shows that the most important factor in counseling is the therapeutic relationship itself. I firmly believe this, which is why I think being transparent and genuine is key to building a strong therapeutic alliance.
